The sediment and other cloudy molecules are separated during the filtration process of our bottom-fermented beers—Rothaus Pils and Rothaus Märzen Export—giving them their gleaming and crystal-clear character.

Our beer goes through a total of three different filters. The Rothaus Hefeweizen retains its opacity, which is typical for its type of beer, and remains unfiltered when bottled.
