A1 – The Bottle Cap – Small but Indispensable
The bottle cap seals the bottle airtight, keeping the beer fresh, yet it can still be easily opened. It also serves as a marker for the beer variety, making it an important part of the bottle’s equipment.
At the two machines, the challenge is to match each bottle cap with the correct beer variety. This doesn’t always go smoothly, as the machines can be unpredictable: five differently colored caps fall along the taps or rollers – and in the end, it becomes clear whether the colors land in the correct boxes.
A2 – Lifting Beer Kegs
Delivering kegs of beer can still be quite physically demanding today.
At this station, you can test your own strength. Lifting beer kegs of different sizes shows the challenges involved in keg delivery. Various weight classes indicate your “keg level” – from the light 5 L party keg to the heavy 50 L keg.
Please lift only weights that you can handle safely.
Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
